The Burgundy Horween Shell cordovan is leather that is taken from the posterior of the horse. The two irregular oval shells taken are then tanned, stuffed, shaved, and then polished through a vegetable process over months. Dyes are hand rubbed on for a deep aniline finish. Finally, the shells are hand glazed to achieve the rich, glossy look and feel prized by fine craftsmen, with the outcome simply magnificent. These leather watch straps are hand-made and unique.
